The Community Kitchen and Brother Ron Fender

Brother Ron Fender talked to us about the story from Luke where the men are walking on the road to Emmaus and encounter Jesus.  He explained that he sees Jesus in the poor and that any time we care for the poor, sick or hungry, we are caring for Christ.

Today, we worked for "one of the least of these" in an area that is not the most desirable of places.  We got hot, sweaty, and itchy, but we made a big difference in just a couple of hours.  Describe what the experience was like for you.
